Fifine AM8T Shock-Mount Guide:
- Grab the Fifne AM8T Mic and thread the 2 thumb screws out.
-
Slide the “fork” style mic handle out and move the Fifne AM8T Mic, we don’t need it for now.
- At the fork portion, you have some o-rings, take them out and put them aside, we will need them soon. (Some versions of the mic come with different styles of O-rings but they should all work, just make sure if yours are having the extra washers to take them out and use them for the next step also).
- Now press the o-rings you got on the last step (they have one side with a larger diameter circle and one with a smaller one), face the smaller diameter part into the outside face of the mic shock ring, and press it in from the inside part of the shock ring. Make sure it looks like the pictures.
- Slide the entire assembly onto the Fifne AM8T Mic
Make sure your mic shock ring is not covering any one of the touch buttons, it should be facing the way you see it in the picture. If you want to turn the Fifne logo upside down for inverted mounting, you will have to take the shock mount assembly, take the orings off, turn the outer ring 180 degrees, and reassemble the orings.
- Push the inner shock mount holder up and slide the thumb screw in.
And you’re done!! You assembled the Printing Pilot Fifne AM8T Shock Mount!
PLEASE MAKE SURE, while screwing the entire shock mount assembly back onto the boom arm, to screw it in as straight as you can, this is a 3d printed thread, it works great, but if you cross thread it you will destroy the threads, and we wont send you a replacement part for it.
